Croissant and the City

Do you remember when the round croissant was the MUST HAVE breakfast treat for insta photos such? It wasn’t that long ago right? Well Here I am in the city with a latte and my round croissant. When I was in NYC last June I went to an Italian bakery and they had croissant cubes! Of course I had to get one because, just because it was too cool not to, and I love carbs so it was a win-win for me. I wish I had taken a picture before I dove into it. It was raspberry filled and just magical.

I am pretty sure that if chocolate had been an available cube flavor I would have taken that one back to the hotel too! I wish I looked this fabulous when my non-digital bum was in the city. I however was in shorts and sneakers since it was summer. Maybe next time. Anyway if you have a chance to eat a non-traditional shaped croissant I say do it! Heck even “normal” croissants need to be eaten. I may just be hungry at this point so credits for you and food for me.

Every once in a while I decide to sort the chaos that is my inventory and I end up styling a look I just have to share. This is one of those times. Did any one else just read that in the “Law & Order” voice? Just me? That’s cool. Anyway I was playing with the blazer and trying to figure out what would look good under it when I saw the corset and well the rest as they say is history. I shoved the photos off to my silent partner to edit to his hearts desire so if you don’t like them it’s his fault. I am only kidding, don’t blame him!

If it weren’t for the wedding ring I would say I look like the main character from a Hallmark movie about a busy city girl trying to find love in the fall. I am none of those things though so…yeah.

Hi everyone. Sorry I have been away for a bit, I was seeing many a doctor to discover why I am hurting all the time and having a hard time walking. Good news, it’s been solved, bad news it means surgery in August. So in the in between times I am going for some more natural pain relief. Wanna guess what that is? Pretty obvious huh? So if my posts are spotty or the pictures are kind of out there now you know why.
