Somedays you just need to toss yourself into a kiddie pool, clothes and all! It’s one of those hot and humid days when all you want to do is cool down, no matter what it takes. I do not have a pool of my own in RL, but there is one in my complex but outside is where the sun lives and we have a love/hate relationship. I love the sun, it makes me happy, the sun on the other hand hates me with a burning passion (that is a fancy way of saying that I burn easily)
Normally I am not a rose all day kind of girl, but in the heat of the summer I will drink just about anything as long as it’s cold. And while it may not be a drink per se, I will also eat boozy popsicles, like the blueberry-grapefruit-gin one I got from a local food truck/ice cream truck recently. As an asides I do not recommend eating a boozy popsicle on an empty stomach unless you want a quick, cool buzz.
