Breathe in, breathe out, she told herself while standing at the edge of the creek. She wasn’t sure how long it would be before someone noticed she was gone and were sent to find her, but she needed this time alone. It was all too much for her, being trotted out and put on display for suitors but that was her duty to this family and her father.
I realize reading the title back of this post that it sounds a bit naughty, but that wasn’t my intent. I had planned on writing a cute little story, so that is what I will do!
Every year after the rush of Easter the bunnies get together for a feast. Everybunny scours the farms and forests for the best carrots they can find. This year Miss Bunny found a polka dotted carrot that had an almost magical aura to it. She pulled it from the ground and sat with it for a moment.
Miss Bunny carefully carried the carrot back to the burrow for the post-Easter festivities. She was proud of her carrot find, but there was something about this carrot. It was different and she wasn’t sure she wanted to share it with the others.
She held onto the carrot with all her might, not wanting to share it with anybunny else. She never returned to the burrow and no one has seen her since, Some say she ran off with the carrot to a small island where she lives alone hidden by the carrots magic. Others believe she ate the carrot and transformed into something completely different. No one knows for sure what her fate was, all that is known is that the carrot was magic and she loved the carrot.
I don’t know about you but I could use a vacation right about now. I wish I could say that my spans between posts is because I have been doing something fun like having a vacation, but sadly that is not the case. The truth is that posts will probably be spaced out a ways because my hands are not playing nice at the moment. I have carpal tunnel in both hands, some days one hand is better than the other and other days both of them are useless pain monsters. Not to fret they are getting doctor treatment, but till they are all happy again thing like typing and mouse control are a bit hard.
Anyway, when I first put this dress on I was going to do a whole Mrs. Potts in her younger years thing, you know pre-kids and pre-curse, but things didn’t go as planned. Why Mrs. Potts you ask?
It’s the corset part of this dress really. The blue and white just reminds me of a beautiful classic teapot, and well my train of thought went to Disney and Mrs. Potts. There was some logic in my train of thought. I will leave you with the credits. Till next time!
I am just realizing that wearing fur right in front of a deer may have been a poor choice, but we will ignore that. I feel like some sort of glorious wintery magical forest dweller. I am sure if I did the research some culture has a being that looks like this, but I didn’t do that.
Here is just a better look at my horns and other little adornments that I was wearing for these photos. If you couldn’t guess from my pictures lately I have been playing with depth of field more and more. I promise not to overuse it.
