Not Quite Anti-Cupid

You may be looking at me and thinking “Hey that looks like an emo cupid”, and you wouldn’t be too far off the mark, I guess. You see I am sort of the anti-cupid. It’s not that I am against love or anything like that. I am more of Cupid’s cleaner. You see sometimes he gets a little overzealous in his match making and puts together people that DO NOT belong together. You will hear humans refer to it as “falling out of love”, but really, it’s just me correcting Cupid’s mistakes. I would say Cupid is only human and prone to mistakes like all humans, but since he’s not, that excuse doesn’t fly. Unlike Cupid himself who does. Sorry that was a terrible demi-goddess joke.

Hopefully I will never see any of you, since you will never see me when I am on Earth.

Croissant and the City

Do you remember when the round croissant was the MUST HAVE breakfast treat for insta photos such? It wasn’t that long ago right? Well Here I am in the city with a latte and my round croissant. When I was in NYC last June I went to an Italian bakery and they had croissant cubes! Of course I had to get one because, just because it was too cool not to, and I love carbs so it was a win-win for me. I wish I had taken a picture before I dove into it. It was raspberry filled and just magical.

I am pretty sure that if chocolate had been an available cube flavor I would have taken that one back to the hotel too! I wish I looked this fabulous when my non-digital bum was in the city. I however was in shorts and sneakers since it was summer. Maybe next time. Anyway if you have a chance to eat a non-traditional shaped croissant I say do it! Heck even “normal” croissants need to be eaten. I may just be hungry at this point so credits for you and food for me.

Mushroom Afternoon

One must wear only the finest of hats when foraging to find a cache of mushrooms and apples. Of course taking a break and having a little read before popping off for another look see never hurt a person. Lets me fair nothing beats the feel of lush green grass on your feet. This does of course mean that your feet get a touch dirty, but I assure you it washes away quite easily.

One must never go adventuring in this day and age without a way to communicate should an emergency arise. Or to check out the latest tea being spilled by friends and foes alike. Not that I would do such a thing on my phone, nor do I assume you do either.

Imagine you are in a Hallmark movie and the whole idea is you get these letters from your great grandmother and must learn the family secret. I will admit I am a Hallmark Christmas movie watcher. A Case Of The Blues

This year has been off to a busy start! I have already had a house guest for almost two weeks and then I am off to visit family for another later this month! Of course that doesn’t mean things are all rosy, hence the blues. I won’t get into it here, but let’s just say the non-digital world has slapped me with a harsh reality. Centaur in the Snow

I have to admit that my dirty mind was really tempted to make up a story about forbidden love between an elf and a reindeer, with this being the result, but I really don’t want to land a spot on Santa’s naughty list. I Sense Something

I know I can feel something here, I just can’t see it. I feel like I am being followed, but there is no one around. Whatever could it be? It’s a ghost of course! I tend to joke around that when the cats are staring at the wall they are watching a ghost. I have named that ghost George, not named after any friends I assure you. I have always loved watching tv shows and movies about ghosts as my previous Beetlejuice themed post may have clued you in to.

Autumn isn’t over yet

I think it was back in September or maybe early October when I watched a movie called Autumn Leaves starring Joan Crawford, and there was a song with the same title in it. For some reason the line ” I miss you most of all when autumn leaves start to fall” really stuck with me. Maybe I was missing someone that day or something and that is why it stuck. Either way it inspired these photos that I am sharing today.

It makes me laugh a little because in my digital life I am more willing to be blond than I am in my non digital life. Then again the non digital version of me currently has purple hair so…honestly I don’t know where that train of thought was headed so I am just going to leave you with the credits.

High Times

Hi everyone. Sorry I have been away for a bit, I was seeing many a doctor to discover why I am hurting all the time and having a hard time walking. Good news, it’s been solved, bad news it means surgery in August. So in the in between times I am going for some more natural pain relief. Wanna guess what that is? Pretty obvious huh? Are you for real?

I am still playing a little catch up from last month. I of course had to make a trip to Enchantment in May because the theme was A Midsummer Night’s Dream. When I was in high school I worked backstage when the play was performed. I was part of the costume crew so it holds a special place in my heart. I think I even had a crush on “Oberon”, but it was forever ago. Anyway I picked up this outfit and found this pose lurking in my inventory so it was a match made in…the forest?

So Delicate

This gave me the chance to use a windlight that was shared with me back in April or May as well. The colors matched my outfit so perfectly. I am going to move onto the credits before I ramble more about my slacker ways.
