Breathe in, breathe out, she told herself while standing at the edge of the creek. She wasn’t sure how long it would be before someone noticed she was gone and were sent to find her, but she needed this time alone. It was all too much for her, being trotted out and put on display for suitors but that was her duty to this family and her father.
Ironically I took these pictures before I had to leave my house due to an impending hurricane back in the beginning of October. Luckily we didn’t have any damage but spending so much time in the car I am off road trips for a while! And hurricanes, but I have more control over the road trips than the weather.
I am sure there are some quotes out there about weathering a storm or something but today is not the day to go searching for that. I will however tell you to live every moment to its fullest because you never know when a storm will hit (I mean a proverbial storm not the predictable weather type).
Happy Halloween all you spooky scary skeletons. Or for those of you who aren’t in a place that celebrates, Happy Thursday. I will admit Halloween and Christmas are my favorite holidays because I love to decorate for them both. This year the yard is not as decorated as it has been in the past thanks to hurricanes and the fact that I did not clearly label my decorations so I have no idea which one has all my spooky decorations. I couldn’t let today pass with out some nod to the day so I went with a witchy vibe.
I think the scariest thing about this whole picture is that I am looking an arcane library looking for a spell to do something. Will it be something nefarious or something curative? Honestly I think it depends on whether I have had enough coffee to make me a nice person to be around. Speaking of that I should go and get more into me before I turn into a total ghoul for the day!
Go to a corn maze, it will be fun they said. Sure it’s all fun and games till you get yourself all turned around and start thinking of the minotaur and his labyrinth. Maybe that is just me and my recent delve into all sorts of mythology. In all honesty in the non-digital world I am pretty good at corn mazes, but then again they do give you an aerial view of the maze.
In SL however I get lost easier than, well something very easy. For example I get lost several times at The Fantasy Faire each year and at some other events too. It can be a bit daunting as you can see from the look I have going on here. Or maybe I am just trying to show off my pumpkin-y manicure.
I know, I know I have been very quiet lately. I have been so overwhelmed with my non-digital life that I don’t know where to start. I haven’t been slacking though I swear. I have a bunch of ideas and photos to get to so yay! Right now I would love nothing more than to hide from my non-digital life and when I saw this mouth tape thing one weekend I knew I needed it.
I mean honestly who wouldn’t want to tell reality to take a flying leap? Also you can tell I am not feeling myself because there is an abundance of pink in this post! I think I took a ton of picture when wearing this look because I was loving the way the light was reflecting(?) off the lenses of the glasses. Of course they went clear when I got all up in my face. I shall leave you with the credits for now as I get back to work on all these ideas.
Today I am waking up and choosing violence! Not in my non-digital life though, I am way too soft to survive prison. I think my look is what would happen if Zeus somehow managed to reproduce with a storm cloud. I don’t know, that god seems to let his freak flag fly. I think if there was a way to *ahem* fornicate with cloud he would find it. I may still be high from last night at this point hence the Greek god ramble.
Oooh look shiny! I wonder what kind of chaos I could create with a little ball of energy like this. Oh the possibilities…
I have been told that no one really believes that I am sweet and innocent. Everyone seems to be able to agree to the sweet part (boy do I have them fooled), but no one seems to think I am innocent. I mean just because I might look like I have a secret side doesn’t mean I do!
Could someone who takes such awkward pictures not be innocent? I don’t know where I am going with any of this as I am writing it late on Sunday and my brain has taken the weekend off. I think the point of this post was that I am sweet, innocent and my favorite color is yellow if you couldn’t guess that bit.
Or maybe it is more of a divine bovine? Yes I know it’s been three months since I have posted. It was an unplanned summer break. During my break I spent some time with family and sort of recharged my creative energies. That is not the point though, the point here is I just really wanted to make a post about this pun/wordplay thing that made me chuckle while I was herbally infused. Here is a better look at my face so you can see the bovine beauty in all it’s glory.
The only cute part of my cow self is my tail. It sort of had a mind of it’s own flicking this way and that. Oh well at least you can see my ears and adorable nubby horns.
Once upon a time there was a beautiful mermaid swimming through the ocean. She was enjoying watching the little schools of fish swimming to and fro. She also loved watching the jellyfish floating through the water, their tentacles flowing behind them like streamers.
The mermaid was horrified as she swam closer to where the humans lived. Before she knew it her pristine waters were cluttered with all sorts of stuff from the human world. She saw fish and turtles trapped and injured by all the refuse in the water and she got MAD.
At a loss of what to do the mermaid did what mermaids have been doing for eons, she sought out the aid of a sea witch. Now not all sea witches like the one in the one popular human movie. In fact this sea witch just happened to be a witch who cast a spell upon herself to be able to breath underwater. She wanted to get away from the humans as well, something about being afraid of being set aflame.
When the mermaid got to the witches cave she asked her for a spell to get revenge on the humans who were littering the world. And that my little angelfish is how the very first siren came to be. And soon you will continue our proud tradition of protecting the oceans.
Here we see a mermaid in her natural habitat trying to seduce a shipwrecked sailor. The mermaid uses her seductive looks to draw him in. Little does the unwitting sailor know that this mermaid is not like the ones he heard tales of in his youth. Her tears contain no magic powers as she is not known to have ever shed a tear. As the sailor gets close the mermaid springs her trap and drags him into the deep waters of the ocean to her lair.
There surrounded by all her fish friends and the remains of her previous victims she waits for the sailor to take his last breath before she sinks her teeth into his sun baked flesh.
