Not Quite the Worst Witch

One must always learn the ways of the ones before them to be able to create newness, or so I assume. I really don’t pay attention in spell lessons. Apparently following the vibes is frowned upon in certain circles, no pun intended.

My study space may lean more lunar goddess-y, but I am a well rounded witch. I have my crystals and my carved statues that provide my link to the earth. Or that is what I believe my professor said. I just thought they were pretty so I decorated my study space with them.

Now I need to go work on my book of shadows because it is not in fact a book to draw pictures of my favorite shadows in. I need to go study my spells and put the ones I created into the book because I guess they don’t count if I don’t write them down?

Research is hard work

I actually do love doing research on different subjects, sadly that was not the case when I was in school and could have really used the drive. Last week there was no research being done, mostly due to the fact that my entire household was hit with the ick. But that has nothing to do with my look today. I took a trip to The Engine Room and found myself some goodies! I am not too knowledgeable in the whole steampunk aesthetic, but I did a little research and cobbled together this look.

I make a pretty cute little research assistant don’t you think? Maybe I need more gears and steam pipes and things for a fuller steampunk look, but like I said it’s not something I am very well versed in. I guess I should do some more research into it. Oh and get ready for a lot more fantastical looks as my favorite event of the year is approaching quickly, but more on that later!
