Not Quite Anti-Cupid

You may be looking at me and thinking “Hey that looks like an emo cupid”, and you wouldn’t be too far off the mark, I guess. You see I am sort of the anti-cupid. It’s not that I am against love or anything like that. I am more of Cupid’s cleaner. You see sometimes he gets a little overzealous in his match making and puts together people that DO NOT belong together. You will hear humans refer to it as “falling out of love”, but really, it’s just me correcting Cupid’s mistakes. I would say Cupid is only human and prone to mistakes like all humans, but since he’s not, that excuse doesn’t fly. Unlike Cupid himself who does. Sorry that was a terrible demi-goddess joke.

Hopefully I will never see any of you, since you will never see me when I am on Earth.

She is ready to take flight in her purple dress, with the slit up to her faery cake. You can’t see it because of the pose, but I did have on a little modesty covering so that my magic muffin stayed covered. I figured the colors of the dress fit in spectacularly with the purples and blues in Duskfall Court.

I couldn’t forget making sure she had some fabulous jewels to wear because, well she is just fabulous. I may have gone overboard with all the purple, but when you visit Duskfall Court you will understand the reason…maybe.

Take Me Away

I don’t know about you but I could use a vacation right about now. I wish I could say that my spans between posts is because I have been doing something fun like having a vacation, but sadly that is not the case. The truth is that posts will probably be spaced out a ways because my hands are not playing nice at the moment. I have carpal tunnel in both hands, some days one hand is better than the other and other days both of them are useless pain monsters. Not to fret they are getting doctor treatment, but till they are all happy again thing like typing and mouse control are a bit hard.

Anyway, when I first put this dress on I was going to do a whole Mrs. Potts in her younger years thing, you know pre-kids and pre-curse, but things didn’t go as planned. Why Mrs. Potts you ask?

It’s the corset part of this dress really. The blue and white just reminds me of a beautiful classic teapot, and well my train of thought went to Disney and Mrs. Potts. There was some logic in my train of thought. I will leave you with the credits. Till next time!

Hanging the Stars

Yesterday I was a Sun Goddess and today we are channeling the night sky. The tattoo may be the moon goddess one, but I couldn’t choose between the moon and the stars so I went with both. Maybe she is in charge of the new stars in the sky that create the constellations. One of which I learned about during a lecture, talk, history lesson, whatever you want to call it during the faire. I will talk about that in my weekly round up post probably tomorrow. For today how about a closer look at that tattoo ( I went halo-less this time)

I think if I had to choose between releasing the sun and hanging the stars I would choose the stars. The sun doesn’t really change all that often but stars, those are more every changing and in constant flux so your job would never be the same. Granted I am not well versed in all the celestial bodies and could be speaking out my bum. Either way I would make a fabulous star sticker outer and even more so if I looked like this!

Sun Goddess

It’s funny that I am channeling my inner sun goddess given my love/hate relationship with it. In the non-digital world I am so pale I glow in the sunlight and burn easier than something that burns easily. That being said I could not resist the tattoo and halo combo.

Who wouldn’t want to look this glowing and fabulous? It paired really nicely with an outfit I already had in my inventory so that was a bonus for me. It means that I have all the more to be able to drop into the RFL kiosks all over the fairelands. Since it would be weird to have the day without the night, there will be a post featuring the moon following this one, I mean not right away, but maybe later today…after the sun sets!

Think of this as the calm before the storm. What storm you ask? Why the storm of Fantasy Faire related posts that are about to be flooding this blog! What can I say, Fantasy Faire is one of my absolute favorite things and I look forward to it every year. Calling it an event seems to make it feel so…small. There is nothing little about the Faire, from the enchanting sims to the FaireChylde where you can listen to awesome music to the various shenanigans that happen all over. However the most important part of all is that the Fantasy Faire is at its heart a Relay For Life fundraiser. The Faire opens on Thursday so keep an eye out for all the landmarks and everything that I will be hitting you with when the doors officially open. A little while ago I was having a conversation with a friend about what I would do if I were a different kind of person. The kind of person who didn’t give a f*@# about what other people thought and had an unlimited stream of money or access to dildos. You see if all those things were a reality I would be the Bag O’ Dicks fairy and would basically just hand a dildo to anyone who was acting like an entitled jerk and tell them to “Go F*$% Yourself”. I Sense Something

I know I can feel something here, I just can’t see it. I feel like I am being followed, but there is no one around. Whatever could it be? It’s a ghost of course! I tend to joke around that when the cats are staring at the wall they are watching a ghost. I have named that ghost George, not named after any friends I assure you. I have always loved watching tv shows and movies about ghosts as my previous Beetlejuice themed post may have clued you in to.

Puppy Love

It’s Puppy Day today! Sadly SL is the only place I can have a puppy since in the non-digital world mini me is allergic to dogs much to her dismay.
