I promise the Barbie blond and pink combination will be out of my system with this last post. In all fairness it was supposed to be posted two weeks ago, but someone took a spill and hurt themselves. Graceful I am not, so here we are two weeks late with my final Barbie inspired look.

Blond hair and pink are not my favorite things if we are being honest. In my non-digital life my hair is usually a shade of purple or a berry red color, never blond. And well I haven’t been a fan of pink since primary school (nope not telling you how long ago that was). Anyway here I am with my vacant Barbie stare. See ya later!

That’s right my theme of Barbie continues today with a less than kid friendly Barbie. Though now that I think about it some of the Barbies my youngest used to play with did have some “adult” beverages included, at least it looked like that to me. Hmmmm…

This Barbie look it supposed to remind you of a 90’s grunge look, but maybe it’s just what I vaguely remember wearing in high school, minus the bottle of wine and cigarette. Okay to be fair I still wear ripped jean and boots on occasion and drink legally, but that is not the point. Oh hey look another picture!

I am going to stop rambling for today because it’s totally disjointed. I blame my cat for ruining my second cup of coffee by sticking her paw in it (it wasn’t hot anymore anyway).

Roller Barbie

I know I am back and dressed in pink and with blonde hair, but with the Barbie movie coming out this week how could I resist?

I based this look very loosely off the previews from the movie and from the 90’s rollerblading Barbie doll. In my head Barbie is just casually rollerblading on the boardwalk when she gets thirsty and stops for a nice refreshing strawberry milk. Listen she likes pink and milk does a body good or something like that. Only this milk tastes funny to Barbie!

Oh my goodness it’s rice milk! In my mind Barbie has never had rice milk because well Barbie can do anything, like consume lactose. So of course a non-dairy alternative to milk would come as a complete shock to her. I know it’s silly, but that is what I aim to do, make you laugh. Happy Monday everyone!

I had planned to post this on Easter, because you know bunnies, but sometimes life has other plans. And then I was gonna do it yesterday, but it turned out to be the Monday-est of Mondays so here we are. Now you may think there are only two fluffy tailed friends in the picture, but there is a secret hidden bunny. Can you guess where it is?

I wasn’t kidding when I said I was bringing the 80’s back. When I saw these cheer outfits from Dead Doll I automatically knew I needed a Toni Basil moment. For those of you who are youngun’s Toni Basil had a hit with the song “Mickey” which featured cheerleaders. Nightmare on Your Street

The real nightmare is my inventory currently. I swear just as I get it all cleaned and organized it’s a giant mess again. Oh well I will have plenty of time next month when I am laid up after surgery to give it a good going through. As I have mentioned before there are some things I see when out shopping and it just triggers an idea for a post. This time it was this sweater/skirt combo. It was giving me Freddy Krueger vibes, but you know if he were a lady. So I guess it’s more of a genderbent Freddy…a Freddi if you will. I don’t think being awake will save you from this nightmare.

I of course needed to make sure I was wearing a fedora and Freddy’s iconic scars. Okay I can start to see why maybe my inventory is a mess, but it’s totally worth it! I just realized my wedding ring is like POW right there. I am pretty sure Freddy wasn’t rocking the bling, but that is okay. Anyway I am off (not that way, but that way too) to create more chaos. I am just realizing that wearing fur right in front of a deer may have been a poor choice, but we will ignore that. I feel like some sort of glorious wintery magical forest dweller. I am sure if I did the research some culture has a being that looks like this, but I didn’t do that.
