The Most Faire-tastic Time of the Year!

I feel like I need a little hearld to bring forth the news that the Fantasy Faire is mere days away from opening. While I don’t have a herald (do places still have them?), I do have flamingos. Panic Flamingos to be exact and I have been following them waiting for the portals to the fairelands to open.

The two large flamingos are Panic Flamingos for those participating in the faire in some way. The little fellas are just following their elders and I am flying along right behind them all trying to get through the portal. It won’t be open till the 20th though so I guess we have to wait. On the plus side if you want to mark your calendar with Faireland classes, shows, parties and other shenanigans you can head on over to the Official Page!

What would a post be without a good look…down my dress it seems. Ignore that and just take in the magical floral fairy happily longing to return to the fairegrounds. I wonder how many magical personalities I will cycle through this year!

Silent Reflection

I have been doing a lot of thinking during this Fantasy Faire and it’s not just because of the quest for a change (more coming on that in another post). I have been spending the days as one of the caregivers (okay so I am a glorified babysitter at the moment) to my father who is currently battling cancer. And it is a terrible thing for anyone to have to do. But that is why we relay and why the Faire is important, because not everyone has the ability to travel and help family in a time of need.

I will stop going on about all that, because this outfit is beautiful and should be the star of this post. I think I found the perfect spot on one of the Faire regions for my photos. It is gorgeous and glowing, oh and don’t forget magical. I mean there are waterfalls and unicorns! I am going to head off now. I have more photos to take and posts to write!

If you have seen the new Cruella movie then the title makes sense, if you haven’t then ummm watch it and figure it out? I will admit I have had this idea floating around for over a year and finally took pictures so if items are no longer for sale I am sorry. I am feeling like my psychic powers were sort of spot on when I took this picture. Again referencing the movie here. Seriously if you likes Maleficent then you will most likely enjoy Cruella too!

Puppy Love

It’s Puppy Day today! Sadly SL is the only place I can have a puppy since in the non-digital world mini me is allergic to dogs much to her dismay. I found this pose buried in my inventory and I just couldn’t resist using it. Besides it reminds me of “my” puppy. Okay so he’s not really mine, nor is he a puppy, but I still love him from afar. That however is a story for another day!
